The National Dance Company will stage the performance "Holiday Season Series: Seol, Hope" to wish good luck in the new year and mark 2020 as the gyeongja (庚子, white rat) year. 

The program consists of nine traditional Korean dances including that to the janggo (hourglass-shaped Korean drum) and dongnae hakchum, which features a seonbi (scholar) moving like a crane.
