The NK-U.S. summit, the so-called “nuclear talks of the century,” will be held at the Capella Hotel on Sentosa Island in Singapore, and it’s set to begin on June 12 at 9 a.m. local time, 10 a.m. in Korea.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said on June 5 via Twitter that, “The venue for the Singapore summit between President Donald Trump and Leader Kim Jong Un will be the Capella Hotel on Sentosa Island. We thank or great Singaporean hosts for their hospitality.”

The Capella Hotel is where White House Deputy Chief of Staff Joe Hagin and other members of the U.S. delegation stayed during the working-level talks with North Korea in Singapore. Prior to the upcoming summit, Singapore’s Ministry of Home Affairs declared Sentosa Island and its surrounding area as a “special event area.”
