The South and North Korean heads of state left Pyeongyang International Airport in separate limousines (as part of a motorcade), exiting their vehicles in front of the Three Revolutions Exhibition Hall to greet Pyeongyang citizens. They then got into the same open top limousine and proceeded in a car parade. After turning left at the Yongheung intersection, the two leaders traveled while waving to the Pyeongyang citizens lining the streets until they reached Yeomyeong Street.
