Representatives from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Washington D.C. gave a presentation at Dominion High School in Sterling, Va. in response to a request from students who will be representing Korea in the Model United Nations conference, Feb. 11-14 at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va.
The 15 students who will represent Korea at the model UN conference showed a great deal of interest in the culture, history, and key issues of Korea. During the Q&A, students raised diverse political and international issues, such as Korea's terrorism policy, inter-Korean relations, and North Korean nuclear weapons.
Led by Amanda MacLean, the group said that they were able to gather useful information about Korea's foreign policy ahead of their presentation at the conference.
