Busan will host the Busan Biennale Play Ground where everyone will be able to enjoy art, performances and parties, all together.

Marking the 2016 Art Week, the Busan Biennale Organizing Committee will host the event on Oct. 23 at the F1963 Square at the Busan Museum of Art.

The 2016 Art Week has been taking place across the country, on the theme of “Art in Life.” It's a series of art events designed for common people so that they can enjoy the arts in an easy, friendly manner. This program has been jointly run by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, and the Arts Council Korea since Oct. 11, as it moves from Seoul to Busan and Gwangju. The Busan Biennale Play Ground will be the final destination for the program.

The Busan Biennale Play Ground will feature four performances: Happycomess (left), Lietto Trio (second from left), Osbi (third from left) and the S.D.K Art Factory.

The Busan Biennale Play Ground will begin with concerts at 1 p.m. with the operatic pop group Happycomess, the classical music group Lietto Trio, the jazz band Osbi and the street dance team S.D.K Art Factory.

It will also feature a special food tasting program “Artists in the Kitchen” where visitors will be able to taste food made from recipes used by the actual biennale participating artists, and communicate with artists through food. For those who are interested in the biennale, a talk will be held at 4 p.m. where people can ask questions about the event.

When night falls, an exciting party will begin.

Anyone who hopes to go to the “Ninanaena” party (니나내나) must adhere to the dress code -- wear primary colors -- that symbolizes the themes of the three biennale events this year in Seoul, Busan and Gwangju.

The Busan Biennale 2016 will run until Nov. 30 under the theme of "Hybridizing Earth, Discussing Multitude.”
