The Lotus Lantern Parade took place in central Seoul on May 4 as a ceremony to celebrate the Buddha's birth.

The parade, the main event of the annual Lotus Lantern Festival, featured Koreans and non-Koreans marching and holding lanterns representing their countries and Buddhist figures.

The Lantern Festival Global Supporters, comprised of students from 26 countries, gave performances and assisted foreign visitors to the festival. This international event is popular among both foreign Buddhists and non-Buddhists.
