The music concert "ASEAN Fantasia" was held on Nov. 24 at Changwon Velodrome in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do Province on the eve of the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations)-ROK (Republic of Korea) Commemorative Summit in Busan.

In front of an audience including first lady Kim Jung-sook and Naraporn Chan-o-cha, the wife of Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, K-pop acts such as Psy and Boa performed and were joined on stage by leading Southeast Asian counterparts such as Thai singer-songwriter Phum Viphurit and Vietnamese idol singer Noo Phuoc Thinh.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Park Yang-woo said, "I think the most important key for the mutual prosperity of Korea and ASEAN is 'culture,'" adding, "Korea and ASEAN can understand each other more deeply through cultural exchange and mutual respect."

"Through this concert, I hope everyone can share the cultures of Korea and ASEAN, especially the happiness given through music."
