Kimchi Princess brings Korean food to Berlin
May 26, 2011
Kimchi Princess, a Korean restaurant in Kreuzberg, Berlin has found popularity among Germans in their 20s and 30s by offering foods such as bulgogi, kimchi and bibimbap.
The restaurant has become so popular that reservations are a must and waits of 30 minutes or more are not uncommon.
Despite the relatively high prices of five to 14 euros per dish, customers are enthusiastic about the food. Many of the customers have found similarities between Korean dishes and German foods, which has given the cuisine an extra boost, along with the effects of the Korean wave on German youngsters.
