Is Super Junior heading to the London Olympics?
Jan 09, 2012
Not quite. But Super Junior fans can certainly wish.
The idol group’s fans have voted, and they want to see Super Junior perform at the 2012 London Olympics opening ceremonies.
Super Junior is currently leading the pack of artists who have made website TheTopTens’ Singers You’d Like to Perform at the 2012 London Olympics Opening Ceremonies list, racing ahead of idol groups Big Bang, fellow label mates SHINee and Girls’ Generation as well as international pop stars Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber.
TheTopTens is a website that enables users to create Top Ten lists on just about anything under the sun, and voters decide the rankings. Users can also share their opinions by leaving comments and voting on other users’ comments.
Voter comments range from the friendly, “You have to put Super Junior in! Once you listen to them there is absolutely NO going back”, to the somewhat strange, " You can not only have a visual feast but have a spiritual baptism. Because what they do, what they say, and who they are will amaze you!"
And of course, the downright fanatical: “Super Junior is the real SUPERMAN in the world. Now the sapphire blue balloons are covered the whole world, and they are popular in the worldwide. [...] SUPER JUNIOR, THE LAST MAN STANDING!"
So...with fans like these, who knows, maybe we will see the boys performing at the Olympics one day. But in the meantime, vote and let your voices be heard!
