K-Pop stars to take over Google headquarters
May 09, 2012
What happens when Google meets K-Pop?
On May 21, Google, partnered with MBC, will be hosting a concert at the Google Headquarters in Mountain View, California, featuring popular K-pop stars, such as Girls’ Generation, TVXQ, Super Junior, Kara, SISTAR, B2ST, MBLAQ, and Wonder Girls.

Although the concert is invitation-only for Google employees, fans can view the performances through MBC, as well as Google’s YouTube channel, allowing the global audience to enjoy the show.
This will mark the first time a K-Pop concert will be aired, not only in South Korea, but also to the rest of the world. It is also Google’s first time hosting such event.
With the interest of the concert at its peak, a concert affiliate stated, “After this event, we’re hoping to see more demands for K-Pop venues abroad.”
