President Moon Jae-in in June will host a summit in Seoul with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Cheong Wa Dae Spokesperson Ko Min-jung on May 16 released a tentative summit schedule in a written briefing and said, "At the summit, the two Presidents are expected to discuss how to bolster the ROK-U.S. alliance and establish a permanent peace regime through complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, building on the foundation of close coordination between the two countries."

Trump's visit to Seoul will coincide with his participation in the G-20 Summit on June 28 and 29 in Osaka, Japan.

Cheong Wa Dae said a more detailed schedule of the summit will be further discussed through diplomatic channels.

The June summit will be the eighth President Moon has held with the U.S. and will come approximately two months after the April 11 bilateral summit in Washington.
