Korea.net is the Korean government's official English website and run by the Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS), an arm of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The website aims to provide readers at home and abroad with information on the government's major policies, in-depth information about Korean culture and tourism and customized information for expatriates in Korea.

Korea.net had the honor of being named an Excellent Example of government portal websites by the United Nations in June 2002.
