K-POP Academy Week4 Korean War & '71:Into the Fire'
In week 4 of K-Pop Academy, students watched the Korean film '71: Into the Fire'. The film provided students with a deep insight into the hardships of The Korean War and the relationship between the North and South. Students also tried 'Joomok Bap' (rice ball), which was a staple food during the war. Brigadier Brian Parritt CBE, who served as a Gunner Officer in Korea during 1952 to 1953 and also served for five years as the Director of the Intelligence Corps in Northern Ireland, talked to the students about his personal experiences during the war.
