Jindo Arirang

Jindo Arirang is widely considered the most representative folk song of the Jeolla region of Korea. While the origins of Jindo Arirang can be traced to the Jindo County area of Jeolla, today the song is loved by Koreans nationwide. The themes sung in Jindo Arirang deal mainly with love and loss and the manifold joys and sorrows brought by life.
