There is an extensive choice of hotels. Generally, a double room in a super deluxe hotel costs approximately 200,000-400,000 won (use of extra services and facilities not included); in a deluxe hotel 150,000-250,000 won, a first class hotel 100,000-150,000, second class 50,000-100,000 won, third class 30,000-100,000 won. The prices of hotels may also vary depending on season and location. Hotels add a 10% VAT and 10% service charge to their bills.An increasing number of hotels offer recreation facilities such as swimming pools, saunas, indoor golf driving ranges, bowling alleys and health clubs for their guests. There are also nightclubs, karaoke bars, casinos and recreation rooms, providing nighttime as well as daytime entertainment. In addition, exciting and fun seasonal events and packages are available throughout the year.

Resorts

A number of large-scale resorts are slowly opening throughout Korea. Resorts are not just normal lodging. They provide high-class accommodation with varying themes ranging from health and beauty to sports and recreation.
