Miryang Arirang Festival, one of excellent local festivals selected by Gyeongsangnam-do (South Gyeongsang Province), will be held on May 7, 2009.

During the four-day schedule, the popular art and culture festival in the region will showcase the reenactment of some historic moments in the area, which includes the march of Joseon tongsinsa or a traditional cultural mission of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) to Japan.

Miryang Arirang Fantasy is also included in the festival's list of the main programs. Miryang arirang is a representative folk song of Gyeongsang Province.
