The Korean Cultural Center in Turkey held ‘2022 Golden Bell Ring’ knowledge contest at the Ankara University Gymnasium in Turkey on February 20th.

This event has been held every year since 2012 to give accurate information to Turkish students about Korea and increase their interest in Korea.

Among the 260 applicants, 100 people selected through document screening were asked questions about overall knowledge about Korea in the 'FACTS ABOUT KOREA' booklet issued by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

As part of the event, the Cultural Center performance team performed traditional Korean performances such as buchaechum, sogochum, and samulnori, and the K-pop cover dance team was invited to enhance the atmosphere of the contest with K-pop dance.

This year, unfortunately, the golden bell failed to ring, and Merve Nur Gülyaprak, who answered the question 40 times, took the 1st place, Serin Ören 2nd and Nursena Dinç took 3rd place.
