During July 5-6, 2022, representatives from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Cultural Center in Thailand together with representatives from the Korea National Park Service, Amata Foundation and the Department of National Parks, Wildlife, and Plant Conservation, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Thailand conducted a survey for preparation to create Thailand-Korea Friendship Trail at Khao Yai National Park. 

It is expected that bilateral cooperation will further develop by creating a trail that can symbolize Thailand-Korea friendship at Khao Yai National Park, Thailand's largest national park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is on process for making it happen soon.
