Events at KCCs abroad




The art of Korean calligraphy, temple and folk painting, Korean quilting, pyrography, ceramic art and paper weaving will be introduced to the visitors of the 36th Festival of Folk Arts between 19 and 21 August in Buda Castle. The nine craft masters who are coming straight from South Korea to this year's Festival are preparing exhibitions, interactive sessions and a fair.


Twice a day, a spectacular show will be shown on the main stage: old and new fans of the Southeast Asian country will be enchanted with brightly colored clothes, traditional musical instruments, captivating dances and rhythms. Those who are interested in fashion can admire eye-catching hanboks, or Korean folk costumes at a fashion show. During the day, Korean and Hungarian artists will appear in the entire area of ​​the event to evoke the atmosphere of traditional fairs with their music. And those who want a Korean gastronomic experience can try spicy, sour, salty, bitter and sweet dishes at the street food stands.
