Comprehensive Korean Cultural Events Held in Regional Cities of Turkiye

From May 12 to 16, the Karavan Korean Culture Day events were held in three cities in Turkiye — Erzincan, Sivas, and Yozgat. Since 2013, the Korean Cultural Center has organized these traveling events annually in 2 to 3 cities across Turkiye. Through this initiative, the Center has actively promoted cultural exchange between Korea and Türkiye while showcasing the beauty and richness of Korean culture.

This year’s Karavan Korean Culture Day events offered a wide range of experiences, including traditional Korean games, hanbok try-ons, and captivating performances such as traditional fan dances, K-POP dance shows, and K-ballad concerts.

Throughout the event period, more than 1,500 attendees participated, demonstrating the growing enthusiasm for Hallyu even in regional cities of Türkiye. The events attracted a diverse audience—from young children to university professors—who remained captivated by the vibrant performances on stage from start to finish.
