The Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria (KCCN) is strengthening cultural connections between Nigeria and South Korea through its SAC on Screen initiative, showcasing performances from Seoul Arts Center. At the June edition, they screened the film “The Story of an Old Couple,” highlighting themes of aging, love, and companionship that resonate universally. Gwang Min Lee of KCCN stated that these monthly screenings—running until December—are deepening cultural dialogue by engaging Nigerian artists, students, and institutions, and opening doors for collaboration across performing arts genres like dance, opera, and theater.
