Korean Cultural Centre India in collaboration with Department of East Asian Studies, University of Delhi, sponsored by Asiana Airlines organized “The 11th All India Korean Language Speech Contest” at Satyakam Bhawan, New Social Science Extn. Building,( Adjacent to Faculty of Social Sciences) the University of Delhi on 12th November 2018.
With a warm welcome by Prof. Unita Sachidanand, Head, Department of East Asian Studies, followed by a congratulatory speech by Ambassador of The Republic of Korea, H.E. SHIN Bongkil, the crowd was eager for the contest to begin. The excitement among both the contestants and the audience was palpable. 28 students from different corners of the country participated, putting their best feet forward to demonstrate their proficiency in Korean language and test their public speaking skills. The crowd boisterously cheered on every participant with much zeal and enthusiasm. The results of the competition are as follows-
