On 18th January 2019 (Friday), a renowned writer from the Republic of Korea, Ms Kim Bom, visited the Korean Cultural Centre India to meet the King Sejong Institute students. She was warmly welcomed by the KCCI staff following which there was an interactive session about “The trend of translation in Korea related literature”.

She prepared a small activity for the students to translate a paragraph from her short story “Aoris in the Afternoon”.The students were very enthusiastic and asked her questions related to her experience as a writer as well as a translator. The session gave a clear insight to the students who aspire to pursue their career as translators. After the interaction, the students had a photo session with Ms Kim Bom.
