Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, is hosting an exhibition of Korean fashion.

The 2023 International Fashion Art Invitational Exhibition will run through Sept. 22 at the Korean Cultural Center (KCC) in Stockholm.

Under the theme "Connected," the event features participating fashion designers from eight countries including Korea, the U.S., Austria and Taiwan. The featured works were created using the theme of obangsaek, or the five traditional Korean colors of red, blue, yellow, white and black, to highlight the nation's visual spectacles and uniqueness.

The KCC said, "The exhibited works have both formative artistry and practicality and offer visual pleasure and uniqueness to the locals."

"Since the KCC's opening, we've continuously held exhibitions on handicrafts, literature and tourism ranging from picture book illustrations to photos of travel in Korea," KCC Director Lee Kyoungjae said. "We will play the role of nonstop promoter of each of our cultural sectors to Sweden."
