The nation's largest gaming expo G-Star from Nov. 13-16 will run at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center, aka BEXCO, in Busan.

A combined 1,273 participating game companies from 44 countries will run 3,269 booths in the largest edition of the event in its history.

NCSoft, the expo's main sponsor, and other top domestic game makers such as Gravity, Netmarble, Webzen and Krafton will showcase a variety of content and new games.

NCSoft will run a huge exhibition venue with 300 booths to feature its latest massively multiplayer online role-playing game Aion 2, which is scheduled for release on Nov. 19. Visitors there can experience this game on computers and mobile phones.

Netmarble will unveil five new games at 112 booths: Project Evilbane, Solo Leveling: Karma, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, Mongil: Star Dive and "SOL: Enchant.

Krafton will give its first preview of its upcoming "Palworld Mobile," a new game that the company has kept under wraps for a while.

The expo's main conference G-Con will explore storytelling through pop culture content such as games, film and animation.

Keynote speakers will include Yuji Horii, game developer and designer of the Dragon Quest franchise; Yoko Taro, director of the hit game Nier Automata; and director Byun Sung-hyun of the black comedy "Good News" (2025).
