As a fan of BTS, I feel that the members have added a new taste to my life. They helped me overcome my lonely days full of bullying either in school or college. I can't last a day without listening to their music or enjoying their appearances on programs. They mean a lot to me.

I first saw BTS in 2016 after seeing the rapper Agust D (now BTS member Suga) but didn't pay attention to the band as a whole until after watching the video for "Blood, Sweat and Tears" in late 2016, the first single from the group's second studio album "Wings." This was the first time I saw the group's colors in their music, fantasy, new look in clothing, decoration and everything else. I was really shocked.

I've expressed my love for them by covering anything I have with their logos or photos. I even made a crocheted Army bomb (light stick). I hope to see them live sooner or later.

The following are comments from other Egyptian members of the group's fan club Army.

I used to not like music or even listen to certain artists, but after my last year of high school, my friend suggested that I listen to BTS songs. Since 2017, I've been a member of Army after attending a party in Egypt with a lot of K-pop fans. I expressed my love for them by putting the photocards from the "Love yourself" album on the wall of my room.

I express my love for them by decorating my room with their photos and drawing them, and every time I draw them, I wish they could see my sketches. I really want to tell them how much I love and appreciate them.

I got to know about BTS during my exams period. I was lonely and sad because of the stress of tests. They helped me a lot through their music, how they treat each other as brothers and even through their funny moments. I express my love to them by putting their photo cards in front of my desk in my room, and I want to say how much I love them.

I've been a fan of BTS for three years. I love their music very much, especially older songs. I even bought an album with their older songs. They've added a new thing to my life. I've also started to know what I want to do in life and set goals and achievements. I really love the group and their presence in my life.

As a fan of BTS since 2017, I feel that they mean a lot to me. My life has grown more beautiful. I love myself and my life more than before, and without them, I don't know how I would've managed in life.

I express my love to BTS by making videos to let people know who they are and information about them. I even draw them and use each color in a lovely way to present my love for them.

I've been a fan of BTS since July 2017, and I love their music too much. They've help me a lot in life. I don't suffer from depression anymore. They've affected each part of my life positively. I've started to believe in my dreams and worked hard to achieve them. I share my love for them on social media and own a lot of photos of them.
