From March 1, 2020, YouTube will no longer support Internet Explorer.
Thus Explorer users cannot view or use YouTube videos and their associated services on Korea.net. So for those who wish to watch YouTube videos on Korea.net, please install other web browsers that support YouTube like Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Opera.

  • Based on user surveys and the latest online trends, Korea.net's new websites in five languages now reflect a universally applicable web identity and have improved online accessibility by redesigning each of the websites based on a customized web style guide, user interface and the needs and preferences of users of different regions.

Information on major festivals and exhibitions in Korea

Resources Tab

Our e-library offers publications, slides, videos, and other digital materials. The e-library provides information about a wide range of useful Korea-related websites divided into broad categories.

  • The section is classified into two categories: the Publications section -- where readers can download a variety of periodicals and publications on Korea -- and the Multimedia section dedicated to presenting photo news along with videos and other materials for public relations.
  • The Website Directory is sorted into eight categories -- Arts & Culture, Business & Economy, Government, News & Media, Science & Technology, Society & Life, Sports & Entertainment, and Tourism -- offering a brief description of the relevant organizations along with a directory of links connecting towards over 300 websites of relevant organizations.
  • The Useful Info section gathers all kinds of practical knowledge about Korea including the most requested items on Korea.net, different scales of maps and Helpful Telephone Numbers.
  • The SNS channels of Korea.net are all available in the Social Media menu.
  • Newsletters published by Korea.net are available on the webpage as well as by subscription.

Government Tab

  • Information about the president and government news can be found in this section. The administration category provides profiles of the president and first lady and introduces the roles of the government and enforcement agencies in implementing policies.
  • The Current Affairs section provides up-to-date information on national issues and policies, including public statements and official decisions by the Korean government with regard to international affairs. Arranged chronologically, this section allows quick and easy access to the latest news.
  • The Briefing Room collects press releases, summit diplomacy, and presidential speeches published by the national and regional governments.
