The National Palace Museum of Korea under the Cultural Heritage Administration (CHA) through Feb. 27 is holding the event "The Glory of the Royal Palace," showcasing the 30-year excavation and restoration of the historical Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul.
Under the theme "Four Seasons" but with the seasons presented in reverse order, the event seeks to have visitors reflect on the change in seasons as well as the palace's restoration and excavation.
The exhibition features original archival materials, restoration drawings, and interviews. Videos including guided tours of the exhibition are available on the YouTube channels of CHA and the museum. In addition, virtual reality content features panoramic views of the gallery, descriptions of works on display and photographic images.
Admission is free and the museum is open daily except on holidays.
