The Korea Artist Prize of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA), Korea is a leading national honor that selects four sponsored artists every year for new works and exhibitions, with one picked as the winner. The nominees this year are Kim Young-eun, Kim Ji-pyeong, Unmake Lab and Lim Young-joo, whose exhibitions will be opened on Aug. 29 and run through Feb. 1 next year at the MMCA in Seoul. The final winner will be announced after an open discussion during the exhibitions by domestic and foreign judges and a secondary screening.
