The exhibition "Gyeomjae Jeong Seon - Painting Joseon Through Joseon's Eyes" runs through Dec. 27 at Kansong Art Museum Daegu in Daegu's Suseong-gu District to mark the 350th birthday of the eponymous artist, a leading painter of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). A pioneer of jingyeong sansuhwa, or "true view" landscape painting, Jeong captured the beauty of domestic landscapes with his own style. The exhibition displays 216 of his works across four sections by region and theme, exploring his artistic world and life.
