Every Saturdays at 5 p.m. from May 9 to June 27, there's going to be a traditional fusion music performance at Namsan Gugakdang sponsored by Sejong Center and Seoul Metropolitan City. Listen to sounds of various Korean types of Korean traditional instrument made up of gayageum (twelve-string zither), haegeum (two-string fiddle), daegeum (large transverse flute), ajaeng (seven-stringed bowed zither) and more, sometimes associated with traditional narrative opera pansori. See how well these instruments melt into western classic music and cinema music. The whole family will enjoy the traditional music ensemble associated with contemporary music of modern days.
