Seoul Gift Show

The ‘2011 Seoul Gift Show’ is a major gift fair in Korea hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government in partnership with the Korea Federation of Handicrafts Cooperatives. During the show (Oct. 6-9), over 450 exhibitors gather at COEX (1F) in Samseong-dong, Seoul to display a wide variety of goods including gifts, crafts, decorative items, kitchen & tableware, fashion jewelry & accessories, toys & stationery, beauty supplies, and general houseware items.

Every year, a number of local governments line up to join in the fair. This year, special corners will be set up not just for Seoul (Seoul Culture and Tourism Products Exhibition), but also for Gyeonggi-do, Daegu, Gwangju, Incheon, Ulsan, Jeollabuk-do and Yeoju to present and promote each area’s regional products.

Diverse products and suppliers from 10 ASEAN countries including Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, and the Philippines will be on display at the ‘Korea-ASEAN Center,’ which is set up with a view of deepening cultural and economic exchange between the regions.
