This exhibition is the retrospective exhibition of a Korean painter Jihyang Lee, Sook Ja(1942~) selected as the third artist in the category of Korean paintings of Korean Contemporary Artists Series.
This retrospective exhibition is intended to illuminate the representative works of Lee, Sook Ja who leads the tradition of Korean color paintings and her academic achievements with relation to hand writings, drawing and traditional paintings in multi-faceted way. This exhibition is expected to help us to recognize the world of her works and the historic significance of Korean paintings, expanding the horizon for the recognition of Korean paintings.
