Gimje Horizon Festival
The annual Gimje Horizon Festival, a celebration of Korea's agricultural culture, is held in Gimje, Jeollabuk-do Province, a region long known as the nation's main breadbasket.

The festival's programs include cooking rice using a traditional furnace, rice reaping, ox cart riding, making bar rice cake, and jultagi (tight-rope walking) and nongak (traditional farmers' music) performances. Elderly visitors can relive their childhood days in agricultural towns through these programs, while children can experience things hard to come by in modern urban neighborhoods.

Fireworks and laser shows will take place at night.
