Seoul Int'l Fireworks Festival
The Seoul International Fireworks Festival, hosted by Hanwha Group, will be held on Oct. 5 at Yeouido Hangang Park. The annual event attracts about a million people every year, and the fireworks will last from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Traffic around the area will be regulated from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. that day. All cars except those related to the event will be blocked from entering Yeouidong-ro. The park's parking lot will be closed from 11 p.m. on Oct. 4 to 11 p.m. on Oct. 5, so visitors are strongly advised to use public transportation. Visitors can go to the park on bicycle until 2 p.m. on Oct. 5.

After the festival ends, Yeouinaru Station will be closed for about an hour for public safety. Visitors are advised to wait about an hour to use Yeoinaru Station or walk to the other nearest subway station. (Walking from Yeoinaru Station to Yeouido Station takes about 16 minutes, while walking from Yeoinaru Station to Saetgang Station lasts about 23 minutes)
