Seoul Arirang Festival
The annual Seoul Arirang Festival, launched in 2013, commemorates the 2012 inclusion of "Arirang," a folk song often called the nation's unofficial national anthem, on the list of UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. Both royal and civilian performances from the Joseon Dynasty are showcased, as well as the fusion of modern and traditional Korean music.

The traditional performances include jultagi (tightrope walking), talchum (mask dance) and gugak (traditional music). Dynamic Duo and DickPunks are among the contemporary artists slated to perform in the festival.
