"Yayeon (Evening Party) at Changgyeonggung Palace" is an interactive reenactment of a royal dinner of the Joseon Dynasty traditionally organized by the crown prince as a show of filial piety to his father, the king.
Attendees of the event can either wear traditional costume of a court official of Joseon Dynasty or the official's wife to take part in the performance. The rest of the family can enjoy traditional art performances as visitors. Two boxed meals, refreshments and tea are served. A professional photographer takes family pictures.
The event runs from May 2-19, and reservations are required through the site Ticketlink. The fee is KRW 100,000 per family (maximum five people including the participant).
