Marking its 30th anniversary, the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) will run from Sept. 17-26 at seven theaters with 31 screens including Busan Cinema Center. The number of officially invited works is 241 from 64 countries and if those in the affiliate program Community BIFF are included, that figure balloons to 328. The inaugural Busan Awards to be given at the closing ceremony has five categories: Best Film, Best Director, Special Jury, Best Actor and Artistic Contribution.
