The 2026 Samcheok Rose Festival will run from May 19-25 around Samcheok Rose Park in Samcheok, Gangwon-do Province. Under the subtheme "The Birth of Samcheok's Rose Kingdom," the event is a storytelling theme park featuring 10 million roses from 130,000 bushes of 218 species. Other programs include a character parade and career experiences for aspiring pastry chefs and florists, making one's own children's storybook and an airshow by the Black Eagles, the aerobatics team of the Republic of Korea Air Force.
