"Gangneung Heritage Night" will run from Aug. 14-16 at the historical site Gangneung-daedohobu Government Office and the Myeongju-dong area of Gangneung and Seobu Market in Yeongwol-gun County, Gangwon-do Province. The event will begin with the traditional inaugural parade of the governor and feature a range of cultural programs at night created with residents. One of the main attractions is a light show in which 1,000 drones will illuminate the night sky with stories inspired by Gangneung for a spectacular visual display.
