The year 2011 marks the 6th year of ‘Korea in Motion Daegu Nonverbal Performance Festival,’ a festival that breaks down language barriers and unites audiences of all ages.
The festival opens with ‘High Kick,’ the first and only major production in Korea to bring the theme of soccer to the stage. The performance is a combination of acrobatics, b-boying, break dance, miming, and more. Other performances include the bestseller ‘The Chaser’, ‘2011 Tarak by Maegu', and a reinterpretation of the classic ‘Alice in Wonderland’. The festival will also feature diverse fringe events on the Dongseong-ro Outdoor Stage. Events include b-boy competitions, street ball performances, and street dances.
