The Guryongpo Guamegi Festival celebrates the local specialties of the Pohang City region. Guamegi is a Korean half-dried saury made during winter. Pohang is well known as the village where Guamegi originated. The festival will provide a chance to taste Guamegi and introduce how to eat it and also explain why it is healthy. The festival will promote some other delicious dishes such as squid and snow crab as well.
