Located at Hupo Port, Uljin Dae Ge Festival is famous for its crystal clear sea during crab season. The festival is relatively small in scale but very exciting with a combination of delicious food and a beautiful seascape. During the festival, fresh crabs are sold at moderate prices, which give many people all the reason to visit and taste freshly caught crabs.
The highlight of the festival is the attempts to break the Guinness Book of World Records with a huge gimbap (Korean-style sushi) stuffed with crab. The free gimbap offered to visitors will be a special experience for everyone. Furthermore, crab will be sold at a moderate price compared to other areas. Be sure to get a chance to taste these fresh crabs.
