The Boryeong Mud Festival is an annual event held on Daecheon Beach, Boryeong. The mud in the area has special properties that make for healthier skin.
Visitors to the festival paint themselves with mud, jump into a mud bath, slide down a mud slide, and take their chance with some mud wrestling. The mudfest also features live entertainment, contests, fireworks, exciting nightlife, and all kinds of other surprises.
The festival started to be attended by foreigners a couple of years ago, and now there are probably more foreigners who attend the festival than locals. Have a great experience at Mudfest!
