The 16th Yeongdeok Snow Crab Festival is to be held in Ganggu Harbor, one of the biggest harbors in Yeondeok County, Gyeongsangbuk-do, from March 28 to April 1. Under the title “Enjoy the 1,000-year-old taste and beauty of Yeongdeok,” the festival offers a variety of events including fishing for Yeongdeok snow crabs and a demonstration of cooking Yeongdeok snow crabs. Visitors can also get a chance to taste fresh seafood and cooked snow crabs which have been enjoyed for 1,000 years. The 16th Yeongdeok Snow Crab Festival is to take place along the Ganggu Harbor streets, also known as “snow crab streets” lined with over 100 snow crab stores.
