Seoul Eulalia Festival
Every October when the lush eulalia, a type of flowering pampas grass, blooms across the peninsula, Seoul’s Haneul Park, or “Sky Park,” hosts the Seoul Eulalia Festival.
This year, during the 12th Seoul Eulalia Festival, the park will remain open until 10 p.m. and the entire grounds will be aglow with light. The park usually closes at night to reduce the negative effects of visitors on the native plants and animals.
Visitors will not only get a beautiful view of the city lights and the Hangang River, but can also enjoy a variety of events including eulalia craft workshops and face painting, as well as many performances offered at the park’s central stage.
