The Taebaeksan Mountain Snow Festival will feature large-scale snow sculptures at the national park, along Jungang-ro, at the Hwangji Pond and across downtown Taebaek City in Gangwon-do Province.

Various activities like the Taebaeksan Mountain Snowflake Hiking Competition, the Igloo Café, an ice fountain, sledding and a starlight festival are planned for surrounding areas.
