The annual Gochang Green Barley Field Festival invites tourists each April to the beautiful green barley fields of Gochang-gun County in lovely Jeollabuk-do Province.
Here, you can take a walk along the trails hidden inside the tranquil barley fields, which were one of the filming sites for the hit TV show “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God” (쓸쓸하고 찬란하神 - 도깨비).
During the festival, you'll be able to rent some beautiful Hanbok clothes for an hour or two, or some old-fashioned school uniforms to help you have a really great time.
There will be some traditional music performances throughout the festival, as well as a range of barley-based foods and drinks on offer.
Finally, don’t forget to stop by Seonunsan Provincial Park, where small Buddhist temples are hidden inside the peaceful forest.
