Buyeo-gun County in Chungcheongnam-do Province celebrates the season with an annual lotus flower festival. Here, you can appreciate 10 million lotus blossoms floating on Gungnamji Pond near the Poryongjeong Pavilion.

There will be traditional Korean dances, plays, a traditional orchestra and many more performances, all related to the wonderful lotus flower.

The festival also offers hands-on activities to make accessories and snacks in a lotus shape, and visitors will be able to print lotus flowers on handkerchiefs and shirts.
