Namdanghang Port in Hongseong, Chungcheongnam-do Province, hosts an annual jumbo shrimp feast to celebrate its local in-season delicacy.
At the festival, you can sample many different shrimp dishes, such as salt-grilled shrimp, steamed shrimp, deep-fried shrimp and pickled shrimp. You can also enjoy catching some jumbo shrimp with your bare hands or digging up some clams from the mudflats.
There will also be competitions to pick the fastest person to de-shell a shrimp, and prizes for the best singer and the best dancer.
